Why I Created Gayetana Guitars
For years I’ve bought and traded guitars and have found that nothing worked for me. I eventually decided to make myself the ‘Perfect Guitar’. Of course my wife said no. Instead,
I created an entire brand of perfect guitars and named them after her. She said yes to that. Now I have my perfect guitars and you can too.

Hi, I’m Roberto Castro, but my friends call me ATTO. I am the creator and designer of Gayetana Guitars. I am an experienced musician and have been playing for over 35 years. I can tell you from experience that Gayetana Guitars are easy to play and master, suitable for all guitarists and electric and electro-acoustic players.
In 2022, I finally made my dream come true and launched Gayetana Guitars. With my three decades of experience in the guitar industry and many positive connections with musicians and luthiers, I created something special with Gayetana Guitars. My Spanish Heritage inspired me, and I wanted my guitars to carry that inspiration for those who played them. I named the brand after my beloved wife’s middle name. The inspiration for each guitar came from a different family member and their unique personality and spirit. At Gayetana, I strive to bring joy, peace, and adventure to our players in memory of the joy, peace, and adventure my family's love of music brought me.
In addition to being the CEO of Jubal Instruments, I have designed an innovative guitar crossover that is hitting the market in 2024. I created this unique design after years of experience learning from different types of guitarists as well as building my guitars.
What is Jubal Instruments?
Jubal Instruments is the name of my company that oversees the Gayetana brand. The name ‘Jubal’ was inspired by Genesis 4:21 and even though we opened in the summer of 2022, we like to say that it all started back then in 4,00 BC.
We supply instruments for guitar players and musicians of all ages, from professionals to students and everyone in between. Quality instruments should be affordable, gorgeous to look at and play, and built to last a lifetime.
